Hey! My name is Georgia Ross, and I'm an engineering student from Sarasota, Florida. As a fourth year at the University of Florida, I am pursing a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering and a certificate in artificial intelligence fundamentals and applications.
Throughout my college journey, I have become an involved member in the marching band and taken part in undergraduate research. I am driven by my values of integrity, balance, service, and personal growth. My ultimate goal is to research and develop new technologies as an engineer, making a meaningful impact in the space and defense industries.
I am extremely involved in the University of Florida's marching band. I have been a section leader for the trombone section since 2024, and also have been on multiple trips with the band.
I am a brother of Kappa Kappa Psi, a national co-ed honorary band fraternity. I served as the treasurer for the 2023-2024 academic year.
Research in the areas of artificial intelligence and defense to further national security. Over 100 applications, 15 accepted for the program’s pilot year.
I really enjoy hiking and working out.
